How To Access the Water Fountain of Life

While visiting our daughter in New York City during the Thanksgiving Holiday week, my family and I got to visit a beautiful water fountain. The view and sound of the water flowing continuously brought us a wonderful sense of peace. In this era where so much chaos is going on in the world, peace is needed more than ever. In this article, I will share how to access the water fountain of life.

The Flow of Water Sustains Life

Let’s first look at what the Bible says about water and its benefits. 1 John 5:1 describes Jesus Christ as born by water and blood. We cannot live without water. No wonder Jesus Christ symbolizes water. Our Lord and Savior tells the woman by the well that if she drinks water found in the well, she will thirst again. But if she drinks His water, she will never thirst again, and His water will become like an everlasting fountain (John 4:13-15).

It is proven that humans can go days without eating but cannot do the same without drinking water. It is not an accident that God created planet Earth with 71 percent water. Water make up 60% of men’s bodies. Women’s bodies are made up of 55% water.

Scriptures About Water

Jeremiah 17:7-8, “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Psalm 1:1-3, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. His delight is in the law of the Lord. And in His law, he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings fruit in its season.

What Does the Bible Say About Fountains?

  • Fountains generate a constant flow of water. Everything it surrounds gets wet, which is much needed in dry places. Isaiah 41:18, “I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys, I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs water.”

  • Fountains symbolize the wisdom of life. Proverbs 13:14, “The law of the wise is a fountain of life to turn one from the snares of death.

Health Benefits of Having an Indoor Water Fountain

Homeowners who can afford them, put water fountains inside their homes. The sound of flowing water improves sleep. Although I don’t own a water fountain, taking a nap or going to sleep with the sound of running water is one of my favorite things to do. I will find a video on YouTube. Within a couple minutes, I am sound asleep. This is another way of reducing stress and waking up refreshed. If you have trouble sleeping, read your Bible with the sound of a water fountain in the background. You will dose off in no time. Lol.
